Clothing Hanger

This hanger keeps falling apart. I know, I know, I could fix it, but I won't be replacing it with a new one, so I think it's OK.

Woven Change Purse

Some things are a lot harder to get rid of than others. I think a lot of it has to do with how long you've had something. I've had this little change purse as long as I can remember, I never use it, it's been sitting on my shelf holding extra links for my watch for the last seven years (at least). I attempted to get rid of it in a previous post and couldn't, but now it's time.

Umbrella

We definitely had some good times together, but due to a bend in the rod, I now find it very difficult to get it to open up to me. Alas, it looks as though this might have ended our friendship.

Pink Studded Belt

Good old studded belt. Attached to it are high school memories, and the plastic smell of the mall.

Painting

This painting was left by the previous tenants of the place I just moved into. I feel that it was not left by accident.

Little Box

I received an awesome pair of earrings in this box for Christmas a couple years back. I've been keeping it sitting empty on my shelf ever since, not quite sure why.

Green Belt

I like this picture because it reminds me of a snake amongst the gravel and dirt. I have to come to terms with the fact that this belt does not fit me, and never will seeing as I can't even fit it around my ribcage.

158-Pound Marriage

Written by John Irving, this book is about two couples that become intertwined romantically. I enjoyed it the same way you would enjoy turning on the TV to discover a show that you know nothing about, and that you find compelling enough to finish watching, but you forget all about it two days later.

Half Shirt

This is one of those half shirts, with 3/4 length sleeves, that stays open in the front. I don't care what anyone says, it's just a way for them to save money on fabric and sell it for more, under the guise of trend.

White Purse

I went to Sweden for five months and didn't pack a purse. This is one that I bought at a vintage store there, tack tack.

Box

For storing pencils and office items. The bottom always falls out and pencils fly across the floor.

Broach

I bought this with my friend Liz when we went to one of those sales where it's a flat rate for a bag full of stuff.

Magnet Strip

I didn't even keep this long enough to put it up.

Cutlery Draining Rack

Mysterious cutlery rack that has appeared in my life, and I just wish it would disappear.

Frying Pan

This frying pan is great, except it doesn't cook in the middle, so it makes great doughnut pancakes!

Pink Measuring Cups

I just needed one and they made me buy the whole set at a garage sale.

Knife

This knife is very dull, but it can be sharpened. I think I accidentally acquired this in one my last few moves.

Ceramic Cup Dish

Not quite a cup, not quite a bowl, not quite a candle holder. I'm not really sure what this is good for.

Silk Jacket

This jacket is gorgeous. I really love it, but I've never worn it, I hope it goes to someone who will.

Lid for Pot

The handle broke off the lid some time ago, and now since I no longer have the pot, I won't be needing the lid.

Pot

This old pot has done me well but is about to kick the bucket. the colours on the bottom are pretty though.

Woolly Pants

These pants were put in the dryer and shrunk about five sizes. They will now fit a medium-small child with one leg substantially shorter than the other.

Safety Pin

I hope someone will do us all the favor of taking this off my hands and wearing it for everyone's greater good.

This was actually requested of me and so I gave it away.

Is This Your Plate?

I believe this plate must have been left after some potluck in the distant past. It's really quite a pretty plate with one chip on its side.

PLastic Bag With Zipper

Surely this must have come with some pillowcases or something purchased at the bay or eatons. I used it for many years to help organize my sock drawer.
